Jayson Mitchell, front man for Candy Road Icehouse Band has been singing since he could talk. At 16, he started playing guitar and writing his own songs. As a graduate from Bandera he enlisted in the US Navy, serving for six years. Through out deployments he would pass his time by writing songs and performing for his crew. After the Navy he moved back to Texas continuing to write songs with a Navy buddy and currently performs all over Texas.
